Status reflects districtwide operations. If there is a change in operations only for a specific school, parents/guardians of that school will receive notification via email and text.
Decisions regarding closings due to inclement weather will be made no later than 5:30 a.m. Two-hour delays will be called by 5:30 a.m. and reevaluated for closure no later than 7:30 a.m.

Staff and students report in accordance with the HCPSS calendar. Within normal operations, due to weather conditions, outdoor activities may be brought inside, including lunch, recess, PE class, and/or after-school and community-use programs.
Employee Work Groups
All HCPSS employees may locate their bargaining unit or employee group by:
- Log in to Workday
- Select your photo icon at the upper right corner
- Select View Profle under your name
- Select Job from the left menu
- Select Organizations from the top menu
- Bargaining unit/employee group shows next to Job Profile
